This was definitly a last minute decision, but one we do not regret at all. We even booked a second night!||The room was spotless, and while small, it was perfectly formed! The bathroom was also well designed to fit everything needed into a …
The bed is great and the room was clean and had everything I needed.
My main concern is security. It is hotel policy to leave the key behind at the hotel, and at least 3-4 times I was just handed the wrong key upon returning and there were no checks ever if I was actually the one renting the room. Also as a solo female traveler having to state which room you are staying in the reception area multiple times a day is slightly concerning. Finally on the day I was leaving I discovered the room to store luggage was accessible to anyone in the hotel, which would mean there was nothing stopping people from stealing luggage.
I always love my stays at Crestfield. I have been coming here for my London stays for a few years. It’s a great location, right across the street from St. Pancras/King’s Cross. The rooms are always comfortable and clean. The hotel team is excellent. They are friendly and helpful, professional and kind. I love that you can leave your bags before and after your stay. I feel like it’s incredibly secure with camera monitoring. It’s really a wonderful and safe feature. There is laundry around a few blocks away for longer stays. I stay here whenever I have to come and go on the Eurostar. You do have to leave your key at the front desk, and I have never had a problem with security or safety. It’s truly one of my favourite hotels to stay at and I highly recommend it to anyone who comes to London.
I came in London with my sister, and in general, the hotel was lovely, clean, comfy and a very good location. With the King’s Cross Station and underground very closer. The staff were not rude but they were serious, except the lady who were at reception for doing us the check in. She was nice and kind.
5 stars review because the price was great for the position and the service provided. My room was small but with everything I needed and it was clean; it might be a problem for tall or bigger people, since everything is small but overall I had a great experience (I've been visiting once a year London for the last 15years!)
I have no doubt I'll book again if in need
Me and my sons was visiting London for a birthday and with it being our first time in London we wanted to be close to the train stations. We found this hotel online and seemed to suit our needs perfectly. We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the lovely and accommodating Lady on reception, we was handed our room key and headed to our rom. We were very pleased to see that it was exceptionally clean and comfortable all we needed on our visit. Would definitely love to stay again.
Room was clean and as advertised. Staff was cold and slightly rude but that's normal for London. It's rather sketchy that you have to leave your key behind when you go out for the day. We did not like that. Also, beware, if you come in on a late flight and want to sleep in until 10:15am, you will be woke by loud vacuum and cleaning staff making loud noises in the next room. A hotel this small should be cleaned between check out and check in hours of 11-2 only. If you can't do that, hire more staff. I paid good money for that room to be interrupted like that.
I enjoyed my stay here. We had a quiet clean room with good tea coffee water and biscuits. We booked a double but got a triple which was super lucky. The area is a bit dodgy- the local gas sniffers had a party outside during the night …
